John Tew

John Keith Tew was a Rowlinson student from 1955 to 1961. He subsequently pursued a career in sales management and lived in Moscow. On his birthday in early June 2003, John thought that he had suffered a minor stroke. His health deteriorated quickly and doctors were unable to diagnose the cause of his illness until sadly, it was too late. In fact it transpired that John had suffered an extremely rare form of primary brain tumour called a T- cell lymphoma of the central nervous system. As yet there is no treatment.

On 16 September 2003 John died and his ashes were scattered at Toad's Mouth (near Fox House).

John was proud of his Rowlinson connection and all Old Rowlies will wish our sympathies to be extended to his family.
