I have been looking for my old school stuff but without success. It is probably still in my old mum's loft. But I have turned up an interesting photo of the tram terminus at Meadowhead. I believe the tram service finished in '59/'60 to be replaced by buses (route 52??) with a new terminus on Norton Lane adjacent to Jordenthorpe Boys. The tram in the picture is about to reverse onto the "Town" side as the conductor has already changed the destination board to SHEFFIELD LANE TOP via PITSMOOR. Regards Alan.
