Subject: Rowlinson School
About Rowlinson School.
I was a pupil from September 1968 to July 1975. I was taught by 'Spike' and 'Fido'.
'Spike' retired about July 1974 if memory is not playing tricks. 'Fido' was at
Rowlinson until after I left, but at some point left to work for Manpower Services
Commision if memory of a quick bus-stop conversation is correct. Keith Ibbotson
was later Manager of Rowlinson Sports Centre. He died last year - about September
(ish).
I did some supply teaching at Rowlinson in the period 1984-1988. I still get a
Christmas card from Derek Shipley (he of the quads). Derek lives in Sheffield
still and is in touch with Brian Garnett (History) and Graham Seaton (French).
I believe both are now retired. Thanks for a great site and a lot of stirred happy
memories.
